I have a 99 GMC K2500 "3/4ton" Suburban with the 454 and 4.10 rear. It is great to tow with becuase of the 454 I can attempt to keep up the diesel people in our caravan. Having a 44 gallon gas tank doesn't hurt either on a long trip. I beleive on the way out to Ohio, Bull needed to pit first.

Its too late now.
Just took delivery of a 1/2 ton Yukon XL SLT on Wednesday night.
Everybody in the family liked it. After seeing it last night Darren liked it too.

Kam, you're going to love it. My biggest problem was that my wife loved it too and told me "you get to use it on the weekends, I want to use it on the weekdays". Two years later she got her own Tahoe LT which was fully loaded (read, dvd for the kids), so I inherited the 'burban.

The LT is nice.
On the way back after I took delivery of the Yukon, I found features that I did not notice when test driving it a few nights earlier. It has DVD, XM, power adjusted pedals (that's interesting), and tire pressure monitor. It's nice to see tire pressure while the car is running.
Now I wonder what DVD Darren will be watching in the back seat when we go to NASA's Hyperfest on July!!
I wonder if it is safe to put tire pressure monitors for track cars??

My wife's Yukon Denali has given us 50k miles of trouble free use in the past 20 months. I use it to tow and the 6.0l motor is great. Between the good deal we got from a rennlister and the tax deductions it was a very reasonable purchase. I would do it all over again and may with the latest round of incentives.
