Default 987S R compound choices.

I did some research, and here's what I came out with.

Tires---------------Size---------Diam-------Revs per mile

OEM PS2----- 235/40 YR18-----25.4"----------819
----------------265/40 YR18-----26.3"----------790

Toyo RA1------225/40ZR18 ----25.1 ----------827
-----------------275/35ZR18 ----25.55---------812

MPSC----------235/40 YR18 ----25.4"----------819
----------------265/35 YR18-----25.2"----------831

KumhoV700--245/35 WR18----24.6"----------840
----------------265/35 WR18---25.1"----------825

DunlopSSR----235/40 ZR18----25.2"---------830
----------------265/35 ZR18-----25.1"--------825

What adds to the difficculty is the PSM which is now std on the 987. Too far off the OEM specs and it may go crazy. The Toyos seem to be the closest in specs, but may encourage more understeer with the size spread.

Opinions??? Thoughts?
