I know that DrJupeman, 38D and I were wondering the same thing! We're eagerly awaiting those results as well.

Results came out late (~ 1830)....they DQ'd anyone that didn't pit.....kind of crappy.

That stinks... I pitted but I asked one of the stewards if they could just add 5min to the times of the folks that didn't. DQ'd is pretty harsh. Anyone have the results??

My car completed it's required pit as did Noveck's. We were ahead of Noveck's car when the double yellow came out, so I guess we won D, thanks to Cory !!.

I was planning to pit around 55 mins. When it was time for my pit, I called my crew and they said there was a another car in my pits and to do another lap. I did the lap and as I was coming close to the pit entry they told me that the car already there had stalled and they couldn't get it fired, so just do one more lap. Right after that as I come thru the esses I see a huge clound of dust and cars in the middle of the track and I knew I was screwed. That's the downside of radios. If I didn't have one, I would've come in on schedule, pitted while they threw the yellow, and gotten back out, probably doing real well in the results. As it is, DQ....

Ah well, for the first 45 mins I had some of my best times racing, there was a whole slew of E cars around me, and we all were passing and repassing several times on each lap. It was great racing.

Hi Chris, I'm glad to figure out who you are (your avitar gave it away). I was the 944 that had some excellent racing with you for those first 45 minutes. We must have switched positions 4 or 5 times!

At about the 50 minute mark, I needed a break -- I wasn't able to stay in front of you, and John Bauer was giving me good competition from the rear, so I did my pit stop.

I should have some good video footage -- I'll try and get it digitized in the next few days.

Happy racing!

Hey Van,

Yeah, excellent racing! you were a pain in the *** So was Charlie Bellaro in #37 and a few others. I have to go pull my video out of the trailer and take a look. Send me your mailing address and I burn a DVD and send it to you.

My friend working the radios said I must be busy because I wasn't saying a word the whole time. Normally I'm pretty chatty on the radio. But I had my hands full that race!

Cris, when I went to bed last night, all I can see is the hood/rear deck lid of the O88.

Great racing, sorry about the blocking but I made it a point to give it back to you with an easy pass into the bus stop; 5 or 6 times . I had brake problems in the enduro but was able to make my stop. I pitted @ 59 minutes and they threw the yellow as I exited pit lane.

I will get you a DVD of both races and send it off to you. Can I get your address on your website?
