FYI had a little too much push in the car. Great for qualifying with new tires 1:55.532 and steady 1:56's in sprint but abused them and times fell off in enduro. I sould have recognized sooner and made some ajustments had to really really work in second half of enduo, I was one whipped puppy at the end.

Is the driver of the 968 that lost the motor in the group 2 sprint race on line.

I was the driver of the silver/blue 911 gt4s that went into the smoke right after the incident. I have video and would like to share. Very exciting.

Thanks

THAT was a really good race Norm. You and Bill were sure moving out. I'm just glad you passed me in the last quarter of the race and not in the first half! You looked like you tired everything to get around Bill. I really enjoyed watching that.

I also enjoyed the time speaking with you and I'm looking forward to it again.

Ed - I was the Red C2 Turbo right behind you, and yes, it was exciting entering the esses.

Btw, is your car running short gears, cause it seemed like you had no top end.

Ha. You noticed. If by short gears you mean I was short gears, yes.

In the first lap of the race I lost 5th gear at the top of the hill. Looks like 5th gear was milling away the brass cage of the roller bearing beneath it. Long story short, this ment that the shifter did not have enough throw to engage it anymore.

The biggest thing I was thinking as I approched the accident was where were you and boy I hope you were able to slow down too.

I went to the left of both cars and though the grass. You showed up at the top of the hill on the right? did you go by both of them on the right?

Exciting stuff.

Yeah and I was right behind you for awhile in the sprint race till I finally passed. Looked like you had an interesting moment in the off camber turn. Ooops.
