Thanks guys for all the advice!
Yes, I understand the compromises here as I have read those threads in the past regarding towing. And yes, I have seen many, many tow their cars to the track in what even I, a towing ignoramus, would consider "marginal" tow vehicles. But like everything else track related, it is all a matter of degree in what we compromise (no, I don't have a HANS ...yet
). I DO intend to drive slowly and carefully. And for the Volvo, this is a heavy car (~ 4800lbs, IIRC) so it ain't all that small, but still limited in it's capacity ...I get it.
Thank you all so much for the sage advice and specific input. I will move forward much better informed now.
