Senna killed due to steering wheel modification?
Sorry if it's a bit off topic, but I read this on speedvision's website:
http://speedtv.com/articles/auto/formulaone/16817/
I have never heard of the steering wheel being called into question before.
IIRC, the cause of death was a tire/wheel striking Senna in the head.
Was the steering wheel determined to be the cause of the crash?

IIRC, the Italian prosecutors said that the steering column had been cut and rewelded before the race, and that it broke, thus causing the crash.
I had heard later though that the suspected cause of the crash was that the reduction in tire temps and pressures due to following the safety car the laps before allowed his car to bottom out, and that this was the cause of the crash.
I didn't realize this was still being dragged through the Italian courts.
