Erinn and I will be there as well...also with "The Dark Side" . On the other hand, we are promoting the DEs heavily with all of our car friends.
Mitch, great racing last weekend! Why did you take off before the last race? I hope nothing was wrong with your car??

Nothing wrong. It was the holiday and I wanted to have dinner with my family. With an event almost every weekend for a while, I have to do the "good family man" thing. Besides, I was exhausted after that race on Sunday.
I'll be at Sebring as well.

I know Rich won his class on Saturday but don't know about Sunday, looked good though.
Also, I'd like to see what kind of times you guys were doing, where can I get the laptimes?
Thanks.

Right now, I am not scheduled to go to Sebring on May 21-22 because we will be closing on our new place in Utah. If at all possible, I am going to try to re-schedule to closing so I can make it to Sebring with you guys.
As for my(our) weekend, I am SUPER pleased!! Saturday, I finished 1st in Class for the first and probably only time EVER! Unfortunately, my car is just not competitive with the strong R4 cars because of the wieght. Luckily, I was able to put together a couple of good laps in Qualifying which put me higher on the Grid that my other R4 Competitors. In the race, my other R4 competition could not catch even though my engine was pegged on the Temperature redline for the second half of the race. Either way, I am super happy with my 1st Place.
Saturday was a different story but equally gratifying. In my race, I finished a good 3rd. The other two cars in my class have just too many mods and too light. Oh well, I am happy. In the second race, Erinn, my wife raced to a 3rd Place finish as well. Unlike me, she had to start from behind all of the R4 cars as well as most of the R5 cars. She started 38th overall and finished 25th overall. I doubt I could have done that!
In all, the weekend was SOOO MUCH fun! It was great to see you all and a 1st, a 3rd and a 3rd in class is not bad at all for us! I guess I need to count my blessings that the "Almighty" Flying Finn was not entered in the race. Then, I would have a 2nd, 4th and....well....Erinn is really fast so I will give her 3rd again.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
PS) My lap times were low 1:42s on my Toyo RA-1s and low 1:41s on the Hoosiers R3S04s (which corded after 45 minutes on the track.....BEWARE!).

Rich,
I watched you and Erin both and yes, you both did good with that "tank" of yours as you said.
And even though I couldn't watch the whole last race, you're right, Erinn is fast, it was fun to watch her pass guys and picture that petite lady inside that car passing all those hairy men! Great job!
BTW, how about little diet? To that car of yours I mean.
How much does it weight & what have you done (besids seats)?
It still won't be enough if there is GT3s running at the same class but still.
P.S. You don't need to count your blessings, I doubt I could've beat you with my "old timer", it's little lighter but I need more power and skills!
