This will be the first time on the track with these tires and I'm wondering what you would suggest for tire pressure. They are 18" wheels. The factory says 36 front and 44 for the rear. What do you guys thinks? Thanks.

Try low 40's hot.

I was helping out a student of mine in a 996TT and the low 40's hot worked best. At the upper 40's hot the tire got greasy.

For reference: Outside temp was about 40+, 50% sun/clouds
Cold pressures - 33F/38R, after 25 min, hot - 38F/44R
The rears got greasy before the fronts. Never rolled onto the sidewalls more than 1/4". Like DavidK said also, most of the advice I got was to shoot for hot pressure of 40 - 44 max. Have fun!

I was trying high 30's hot (35-36 front, 36-38 rear) because it was so cold (37 degrees ambient) and this was a little too low. My guess was the 38/40 or maybe 40/42 would have been better.
