Does anyone know of a reputable Porsche (non-dealer) shop in or around Watkins Glen? I need to get some minor work done between DEs there, and I might just leave my car there. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what your work entails, but I'm pretty sure that Chris White and John Hajny are located pretty close to WGI.

Those are both great suggestions, but, given some pretty serious time constraints, I need to find a shop that is located within Watkins Glen or Rochester, where I will be catching my flight home (that is the closest major airport, isn't it?). Apart from visting Cornell a few times, I have never been to this area. Thanks.

Redline Man (Hajny) is in Vestal, which is yodeling distance from WGI. In Rochester, Randy Ames at Phoenix Imports is the man.

Der Professor is spot-on. I used to race karts against Randy way way WAY back when. Been to his shop many times. Great guy and knows his stuff. And of course John is nearby and a well known helpful and active Rennlister.

They are coming my friend! Between work, trying to get brownie points for my upcoming track events (2xWatkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, Summit Point and VIR), calculating and paying my estimated tax payments (not to mention the filings) , and keeping the little munchkins happy and healthy, I haven't gotten the chance to finish your DVD. Glad to help if I can. 1.2 hours from the Glen... at legal speeds. Binghamton Regional Airport is 10 minutes from here. Flights daily. You are now free to move about the country.
