Default PPI Shop in the K.C. Area?

Hey all;

Looking for some guidance from my Midwest Brothers. I have a client interested in a 944T race car in the KC area. This car has been tended by Clark Motorsports.

I am looking for some background on this shop and it's reputation. Also, looking for a high caliber independant shop in the area to do a PPI on the car.

All help greatly appreciated!

I'd contact Imagine Auto's Stephen Kaspar (www.imagineauto.com)

Clark has a pretty big thing for 944's. Have a friend that runs one in PCA stuff and he swears by them but I have no first hand knowledge. If you want greater detail you may want to email some of the KC/PCA members via that site for better info. I too would suggest Kasper, his shop is about 25 miles from Clarks and I'm 10miles from it if you want me to give it a look ?

Clark has an excellent reputation and 944s are his favorite. He has done some work for me and has done a very good job. He races and keeps a large number of the PCA racers in the area on the track. Imagine Auto is a great choice, and I would also recommend Bob Hindson Racing as an alternative; 816-561-6665. Those are the shops in town I would, and have, used.

About the only dealer( for a PPI) there is Aristocrat Motors off the plaza, not sure how great they are, I haven't lived there in 20 yrs. There are a few excellent racing engine / chassis shops there that cater to the circle track boys, but could easily handle anything on a PCA Club car for a lot less $$.

John, get a hold of Scott Harrison from the 944 forum. He's in KC and is a great guy. He can get you hooked up I'm sure. I think his ID is sh944 IIRC.
