I watched the whole thing from the end of the frony strait(car broken again) the yellow 911 hit and spun the yellow 944 which appeared to gather you up. You looked like NASCAR dirt flying and spinning around, how did you end up going strait and keep driving ?

Gregg,

I would love to say that it was my skill as driver that enabled me to minimize the damage but, when you are in rain soaked grass and Georgia red clay at 90mph going sideways...I was just lucky that I did not hit the wall again or get hit by anybody else coming down the track. The grass and mud was all over my car when I got back to the paddock.

Mark McGuire deserves credit for a 2nd Place finish in G Class. Way to go Mark

Tim,
Sorry to hear about your accident. Any frame damage? I didn't get to go to RA like I had planned, so I didn't see any of the accident. Nice finish anyway!

Mark,

I believe that my car will require some degree of work on the frame machine , both rear quarters, rear hatch and rearend too (basically a rear clip). I have a red 924S body that I will use as the donor car.

Oh Boy! A frankenstein car. How 'bout using a 944 rear clip on the 924 so you can run bigger tires in the rear....best of both worlds!

When's Jack getting you his tape?

Brian,

Jack's camera is not digital. So we would have to get the tape converted to digital for me to download it. I am hoping someone comes forward with a good video clip of the incident.

Go see Awesome Fiberworks for the frame work, They are in Lawrenceville and are the best in town.

Tim - outstanding finish considering the accident. Not sure my head would be clear enough to make that happen. Looking forward to seeing you back on the track again soon.
