Default Mid Ohio in car video

I am going to visit Mid Ohio in a few weeks for my 1st time. I would really appreciate an in car video and any track notes to help me ramp up quickly.
Thanks in advance...

I would also strongly suggest the Mid-Ohio School's video offered on their website. It is an outstanding how-to video that is narrated by Brian Till, who does an excellent job.

Their web page has a lap around the track

http://www.midohio.com/track/video.asp

I would also recommend their school video for sale.

I'd give a third vote for the Mid-Ohio School video. I'd post some of my own, but they're far too slow to be of any use to anyone!

Hey Bull, Thanks...The other #94...I appreciate that. I forgot all about the that video. Hope to catch you up at the Glen this year or VIR. Remember me? I am the one you gave a jump to my Yukon XL at the end of the last day of the Schattenbaum event.
Thanks again.

The best is the School video. They describe all the reference points and even show what happens when you miss them. The video linked above is pretty poor quality as the camera was failing but because it is an open car, you can see the reference points on the track pretty well. Almost every correct line can be defined by using the concrete patches. (For example, left front tire over the point of the patch.) Of course, it is the pro config so you won't see the chicane part of the keyhole.

One other thing to note is that T11 is not the same as the video. The wall has been pushed back and the signs that were the reference are gone. As you hit the apex at 11, you not want to aim for the dip in the top edge of the tree line.

Mid Ohio is an easy track to learn in terms of where it goes next and getting to a decent speed. It is a very hard track to start extracting the last few seconds. After well over 1000 laps there, I am able to say of my very best laps "That didn't suck too much".

Yes I do recall....Schattenbaum June '04. Two beautiful days of run, run, run!

Of course I don't know anyone else who has ever been ready to go and had a dead battery.

Anyone here know where to get the school video? I ordered it off their web site 3 years ago. I gave away the videotape, and now I can't find where I ordered it.

EDIT:
Never mind. I found it. I do highly recommend it.

For anyone else who has trouble finding the tape...it isn't as logical as it could be. It is under "School Souvenirs", not under "Video". ($22).

www.midohio.com
click on School
go to "merchandise"
then "MidOhio School"
click on "souvenirs"
4th item down.
