My buddy is down there right now working with the Care Racing F550 Ferrari Team. So I hope they win or at least win their class.

I'm going to call him tonight or tomorrow to get a scoop on how the other teams look

Hard to bet against Audi, Corvette or Alex Job, IMO.

David,
Yes I did see that, they have a good lineup. I have meet him a couple times. I hope to get him out to a Club Race this year if he has time.

Not too many GT3's in town if you get a chance I would love to catch a ride with you sometime.

Sent you a PM.

Just got a call from my friend down there. This week has been the typical sandbag fest like last year. The Aston has shown good pace, about equal to the factory Vette. Both turning 1:56 or so, but capable of a bit less. Their Ferrari is off pace, 2-3 seconds behind right now.

Nice call...Hard to bet against David Brabham...
Did you happen to catch the commentary about the R8's never having a gearbox or a motor failure AND the fact that their monocoques are sonically tested after each race and have never developed a stress crack or loss of any structural integrety ??? Unbelievable considering the way they beat on those cars.

How about the Hazardous Motorsports GT3 RSR entry starting dead last and finishing 6th in class? This after spending an hour in the pits fixing damage caused by a tire that disentigrated. Spencer Pumpelly and Andy Lally piloted the car for most of the race. Where would they have been if not for the dead last start and flat tire?
