Default Installing an AMB Transponder

So I got my transponder and there weren't any directions in the box. Should I wire this directly to the battery (with a fuse), to a switched source or install a relay?

Colin,

I connected mine to the battery with a fuse & a switch - IMHO, you could skip the switch because the draw from the transponder is minimal.

Cheers,

Rick

Right, not to mention that a switch is something to forget. I'm running with only the fuse, no switch. I never think about my transponder. Admittedly I do have and use my kill switches.

If you wire it up with a fuse you could just pull the fuse the 99% of the time you're not using the transponder. That could be your poor man's switch.

Or you could just wire it up to your windshield wipers.
