I have heard that the HT-10 compound may be easier on rotors than the Blue's and a bit more consistent. They seem to require a bit more heat though. Anyone have first hand experience with both compounds?

The hawk blues I run my 944-spec are not hard on the rotors at all. I when through 6 set of front pads (3 of them hawk blues) before I changed rotors.
I think when you use the Hawk Blues COLD is when the wear the rotors. I love the blues, but have no experiene with HT-10 's

I have run the HT-10s on my 944 Turbo S for 2 or 3 seasons and love them. They were sure easy on the rotors, but at certain tracks, like Rd Atlanta, I never really got them hot enough. I just installed a set of Blues because Carl at Racer's Edge swears I'll like them even better. I'll know next month...

I think the HT-10's are better in high temp applications. If you have good cooling ducts or large calipers/rotors you may be better with the Blues.

Stock SC brakes with cooling ducts. So brakes are small but some effective cooling is in place. I'll try HT-10's since the brakes do get hot and I hate chewing through rotors.
