GT3 RSR question
Curiosity brings this question to mind…..
anyone seen any of the '04 GT3 RSR's for sale yet? Probably pretty soon, but I thought since there are a bunch of GT3 RS's out there to be had that there might be a couple of RSR's........

Over a month later and my question has been answered! TRG has their Green #67 New Century Mortgage car for sale for a cool $265,000....but hey, it does come with the lightweight wiring harness (worth $22,000!!)

Just out of curiosity, could anyone out there explain the difference between the GT3 Cup, RS and the RSR.
I didn't think there was that big of a difference between these 3 models except some bodywork and some nifty bits on the RS and RSR's. The difference between a $130k used GT3 and $265k used RSR is too large to be explained by bodywork and trick parts.
I await the onslaught of opinions and tech specs.
thanks,

http://www.gt3r.com/ this site has the specs on the cars. Also if you do a search here on rennlist for 3cup 3r 3rs and 3 rsr you'll find quite a few threads on the differences. We had many discussions on these items a couple months ago and there is TONS!!! of info on this issue.
Edit: I Did the search myself and found this thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-and-drivers-education-forum/175809-cup-car-difference.html
It has the most info. One big notable difference is that the RSR has a sequential box and the others don't. Also, the RSR is based on the GT3RS Street Version(Not available in US) The other cars are based on the Mk1 Street GT3 and the '98 supercup cars.

Porsche developed tez GT3 cup cars almost every year.
The 2005 996 Gt3 cup car has not much common with the 996 cup car from 98.
The best value for thr money is the new 997 Gt3 cup car.
It has the sequential gear box and most of the stuff that the Gt3 RSR has but cost half of the Gt3RSR. You can make teh rest update by "your self" and you have a fast car for half price ;-)
I will put the infos and difference on these cars soon on gt3cup.com
