Small bit o' trivia: Casner's Camoradi name stood for Casner Motor Racing Division.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled sponsorship.

People do find sponsors. But it takes work to find them, and more work to keep them. The corporate advertising VP (carrying his briefcase full of money) will not search to find you.
For those of us who could not finance our racing on our own, learning to do this was a matter of survival.
It makes no difference whether it is for an amateur or professional series, marketing is marketing...................

Yes, but what I am saying is that when in a position of power, some can be exerted on folks dependent on your business. That can lead to sponsorship.

They are pretty rare in Pro Racing too. Even NASCAR which may be the most successful race series in history as far as pulling in sponsorship, I bet half the cars is the field are sucking gas financially.

BTW... not impressed with a racing story that uses a guy named "Lucky" as an example.....LOL

IMHO If you race, be prepared to break out the checkbook... alot
