Sebring Info
Going to Sebring with PBOC in January, it will be my first trip there, as well as my first race! Anyone got some pointers about the track? I'll be driving a 73 911T.

Most of the turns are fairly obvious.
17 has many lines if you are using the FIA open configuaration. It may help to avoid the big bump on the tight line, just before the bridge.
swing wide for the turn in at 16. There's broken concrete there to straddle. Follow someone and you'll pick it up. Very important corner due to the long straight that follows.
Apex very late for the safety pin, for the same reason.
Turn one is very fast, but intimidating on your first trip there as it is blind. There is a fence post that makes a very good apex marker. Also, you can use the pit lane exit markers to find your turn in point.
Wild Turkey saloon north of town is a good joint as well as the one with the live gator, but I can't remember it's name.
Will you be doing the PCA race as well in Feb?

no......just the PBOC.....I live in Nashville TN and can't work both trips into the calendar. Wish I could though! Planning on Road Atlanta, Mid Ohio, and Putnam park for PCA.

Jason - I'm planning to do the PCA Sebring race in Feb (if I make the list). Will be running more NASA races in 2005 as PCA and PBOC schedules are more limited and many events conflict with my business schedule. I managed to take first in points for SE Region and 3rd National for NASA GTS4 in 2004 - gotta shoot for national in 2005!

PBOC Winterfest is a spectacular event . . . . I attended for the first time last year and had a blast . . . It was one of the best run events I have ever attended. Plenty of track time for all including DE participants and lots of great racing. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time!

Thats the nicest hotel close to the track apart from Chateau Elan. Price is lower too.
