I see...from the picture of that headset, there's a clip that you sandwich around the base of the helmet (just like the one for the radio itself) that the mike clips on to. The ear pieces are then usually routed under the headliner in the helmet to each side.
FYI: I found that the earpiece kept coming off if I simply velcroed them to the inside of the headliner, so I installed them between the liner cloth and styofoam and they seem to stay in place.

While I dont know what brand my instructor/friend has, the first few times using it resulted in a few funny happenings. I communicated at my normal, half-shout volume and kept trying to get out of the car with it still in my helmet, stretching the cord. Dohh

The earpieces a best fitted under the liner. In most helmets where they can be snugged down nicely where they work well and are comfortable.

Dont feel bad about getting out with the headset line still attached - we all do that at one time or another. Students do it ALL the time.
