911 GT1 race car?

Norm, he really enjoys it. He has been down the fabrication bad *** motor hand built road and did it quite successfully. The thing we all begin to realize over time is that the final 3-4 seconds are all in the seat, You can't buy them, You can't build them, You can't cheat Your way to them. the final 3-4 sec's have to be driven. The Cup is a great platform for that as it forces You to become a better driver, the lap times will not come down unless You begin to master the art. As You can see the Cup is not the biggest tired, highest hp, best aero package or anything . It is a little reliable tank that is very fast and rewarding when driven well and can at times be quick enough to chase the front spots in the fast groups. Bruce is really enjoying the car and will probably run some Grand Am in addition to being a driving force behind hopefully a SuperCup series here in the US.

Just out of curiosity, what would this 911 GT1R car compete against in PCA GT1R? I am not familiar with the GT classes of PCA racing...oh and I am not in the market for that beast.

Glen,
Thanks. Thats what I expected. That was the same reason I ran an E stock turbo 944 last year. To concentrate on momentum, smoothness, and skill..
