Makes perfect sense. Sorry that happened to you but glad to hear you are making the best of it.

Back from an exciting weekend at VIR with good news to report. After disconnecting the PSM and ABS the 996 TT did not go into limp mode. The car ran beautifully all weekend long without a glitch.

The 996 TT does make a great track car, just make sure you stiffen it up and and balance the brakes with a good set of brake pads.

The dual master cylinder that was installed worked flawlessly and was easy to adjust front to rear bias.

If your TT is not a full race car I strongly suggest you leave PSM and ABS in tact and just turn the PSM switch off at the dash. The car can still be pushed pretty hard with plenty of enjoyment.
