I'm planning to switch to steel lug nuts since I'll be taking the wheels on and off a fair bit. The only thing I don't like it the look of the shiny nuts (that will get banged up) and the exposed threads on my street wheels. Does anyone make slip-on caps that will go over the lugs, but will be easy to remove ?
I'd rather just run steel nuts all the time, than have to switch between alloys and steel and worry about marring the alloys all the time.
