well that included 2 $25 pit passes, $40 to rent the transponder, and then another $20 to run in hte bracket race (side pot)

most of the guys on 35 are 4cycle briggs i think. i run 219. actually the majority of road racers run belt, which i plan on switching to in the future when i get the funds to.

Thanks for all of the information. Penguinking, when will your next race/meet be? I'd like to come watch. Hopefully I can get involved in karting sometime relatively soon!

Barber Motorsports Park. October 9-10.
Road Atlanta - november 12-14th.

there are several more experienced karters in the area that i can reccomend you to if you start to get serious. i remember how frustrating it was for me to get involved cause i knew no one and the jump into karting is really tough unless you know someone whos in it or you did it as a kid or your dad used to, etc. cause there are alot of packages new and used out there for sale and without some help you'll never be able to tell whats a good deal or not.
