Anyone have experience w/ Goodyear DOT radial?
The supply of my favorite DE tire, the Kuhmo Victoracer, seems to have dried up for the next few months. I was cruising the internet and came across the Goodyear site and their DOT racing tire, the GS-CS. They even come in my sizes. Has anyone had any experience with these tires. I've never seen them at a DE.

We had guy use these in autocross a year or so ago. Very nice tires. Took top time of the day every time out usally by 1-2 second margin.(he was already pretty fast could almost take top time anyway). Much faster than Yoko A032R and Victoracers. May not have lasted as long however. Not able to compare to Hoosiers and don't know how good they are for track days. My guess is they are more like Hoosiers in terms of grip and wear vs victoracers at a track just like at the autocross.

Burning Brakes
5-8 heat cycles and they're DONE, unless they've significantly changed the compounds in the last couple of years.
Great racing tire, as fast or faster than the Hoosiers. Not a great DE tire.

Bought a set used a few years ago, and they were great. Kinda pricey, compared to Kuhmos. For DE's I like Michelin PSCups, they also are pricey, but have lasted us for-freekin-ever.

Goodyear's GS-CS is an excellent dot " R " tire!
I just ordered another set, today!
It's a bit less expensive than Hoosiers-new.
The Goodyear's last longer from my experience!
