PCA Weight Requirement Clarification Needed
#31
Yeah, I wish I could ballast the car with fuel as well! ...it was ~35lbs underweight with a full tank.
I'm starting to believe that the scales I used are somewhat inaccurate...it's possible?? It's a good setup, gues I'll verify via the scales at the track. Manny, yes, I figured out the "official scale" thing at the PCA race in Iowa last Summer - my car BARELY made weight, although previous weighing of my vehicle had it in the "OK" range.
My first item of consideration will be to get over onto the scales ASAP, that way I can address the issue with plenty of time to spare.
Oddjob, thanks for the clarification...I apparently missed that as I had scanned the numbered section for guidelines/rules in stock classes - thanks again!
FWIW, that statement leaves the whole ballast thing WIDE OPEN as to securing it in the passenger compartment.

Maybe you should eat a few more burgers and dogs from the Cafe' Justin
How about some 26" spinners to round out your race "trim". That ought to get you closer to the weight.
BTW: Mark and Rebecca are going to bring the wheels.

EXCELLENT on the wheels Justin...figure gallavanting around VIR in the rain on HOOSIERS is not for me - it just didn't work yesterday, and I'm certain it won't this weekend...that is...IF it rains!??
I hope it does NOT...thank you very much.
Oh yeah, those burgers and dogs did a lot for my "diet".
Mark, I feel ya...would've done the same thing.
