Exclamation NASA Va. Summit Point "Triple Header"

Just wanted to post a "plug" for the last three events of the year for NASA Va. - they are ALL at Summit Point Raceway as the highly anticipated Shenandoah Circuit has yet to be completed...we had two dates there this Fall and those dates were able to be converted to the main circuit.

The 1st in the series of THREE DE/Race events is to be held September 18th/19th - so if you're interested in joining us, we could use a few more Instructors!!

Interested parties should contact me through PM or jefcATmindspringDOTcom - yeah, convert the address - I prefer email.

Check the NASA Va. website for details and schedule, 2005 promises to be a STELLAR year for events with the introduction of the Shenandoah Circuit to our lineup (hopefully it gets completed soon!!) as well as VIR and others.

Participants and Instructors HAVE to be a NASA member, just like PCA or BMWCCA events. 2004 has witnessed quite the member increase with regards to PCA and BMWCCA members joining in on the fun - so, what are you waiting for??

I agree, the NASA weekends have been great. I hope to be running in the rest of the GTS Challege races. Got my car prepped this weekend, now all I need is for my wife to not miss me for two days. "Honey? I 've got to work this weekend... and oh, by the way, I need to take the trailer to work ..."

Excellent! ...good to see we'll have our fair share of Rennlisters at the event.

Jim, we may hit you up for your services just yet.

Be sure to introduce yourselves, I won't be hard to miss...in the little "what the hell is that" blue/silver bullet car. Cris, have you ran a GTS Challenge race before??

I'll be running in the GTS Challenge as well. There will be 3 or 4 GT3 Cups that I know of.

Jeff, I did the HyperFest weekend in July. Ran 2 GTS races in the NASA BigBore group. Was a blast running with the Camaros, Corvettes and Cobra clones. My only complaint was the slim competition in my class. The only way to fix that is to have more racers come out!

Hi Jeff,

I'll be there with a new clutch in the 44 taking another crack at the Super-Cup... Not sure if it's any help, but I can/will take a student, if in the end you wind up short of instructors. Also planning on coming out Friday for the FATT, so I'll be there early...

Jeff, sounds good. Too bad there are not trophy girls for DE. Maybe there will be some in Winchester.

DAR951, I will be at the FATT also and will look for you. I will also be at the FATT this Friday, so far the weather looks good.

Dar, great to hear you'll be there...I think you should buy a condo nearby...heck, maybe you already have one!?? <<<----- Gingival smile.

Jim, I will make sure I have a trophy girl for you.

Chris, I believe I do remember seeing an RS "clone" - I seem to recall drooling over something other than a trophy girl! ...and you are VERY correct, the only cure for being in a "slim" class is to encourage others to come play.

Cris:
I may take a crack at the GTS Challenge next year. I used up what was left of my clutch at the SP PCA race. I think I have to make an alteration to my Safety Devices cage to make it NASA legal so thats a winter project along with the clutch.

I'll be there for the 944SUperCup series, and there are 10 or so runners registered for the 944Cup series.

Hey Dar, great to see you lining up for SuperCup. We need more players, although I think we might need to corner the market for lead ballast. I'm carrying 200# to make series weight + podium penalty weight. Ran the Potomac PCA club race without all the ballast - felt like a totally different car!
