Default Uneven Wear - Reason(s)?

I have noticed that the wear of my two front tires (Nitto NT01 - 245/40 18's) from last season seems to be fairly different. I am diligent about assuring equal tire pressure for each DE session (target 30-31 psi hot). My front camber is around 3-1/2 degrees and the toe is about 1mm out each side. Caster at 8-1/2 degrees.

Any thoughts on why this disparity? Normal-ish? Too many clockwise laps? I am having the suspension realigned/checked with new tires, so I want to be sure to address anything if it's an issue.

Did u swap sides. I swap evey other day to keep them even.

OP: if you look at the track mix that you run, it may be more predominantly, clockwise than counterclockwise, or vice versa, and this might count for the disparity, presuming everything else with the car is OK

I corrected my predominant track direction from counterclockwise to clockwise. Only did one CCW track (Summit Point Shenandoah).

My tires for last season - Nitto NT01's - are not directional tires so I could have swapped them as you both suggested. Easy enough to do after each day. Perhaps that's a characteristic worth looking for in track tires?

Consider the number of right/left high load turns and where those tires were on the car right/left at the track(s) you ran these at.
Agree on swapping left/right.

Default Non-Directional Tires

I am in the process of procuring a set of Bridgestone 18" RE-71RZ tires for my 997.1S, with a set of Nankang CR-S V2 as a backup (if there are RZ delivery problems into March). I confirmed with Bridgestone yesterday that the RZ's are not directional. Also found a statement on Phil's Tire Service that the Nankang's are also not directional. Interesting note on those tires is that they have an arrow on the outside that is a Taiwanese symbol for quality assurance, not direction. Could be confusing.

So I definitely plan to swap sides after each day of this year's track sessions. Thanks for the sensible advice.
