I had the privilege of racing against a couple of 991GT3RS Clubsports this past scorching weekend in the NASA race at High Plains Raceway. These cars are simply amazing machines and not something you see every day.. The one on the pole I was chasing was driven by American racing pro Boris Said. We had a great battle for over 9 laps. Most fun I've had on track in a long time. Interesting to see how my 25 year old race car, arguably "old school" stacks up against one of Porsche's latest racing machines. Cheers....
What track is that? Seems more like a gokart track than one for full sized cars (not a knock on you, just seems really tight and no opportunity to open it up)

It’s not the fastest track but I can get 160mph on the back straight and 130 on the front in cooler weather. It’s 2.6 miles. Not super fast, pretty technical but fun. Passing can be tricky for evenly matched cars. Patience is key. It’s no RA or COTA for sure where 180 is attainable with ton more passing room.
That looks like fun, and that is a very fun track! Wow, it sure looked like he did not know the track at all. What exactly is your car? I am guessing it started life as a 996 turbo?

He was there all day Friday driving and coaching then racing this weekend so probably knew the track fairly well. His client owns 2 of these club sports and they race them in pairs. I’m in no position to critique other people’s lines or driving, certainly not someone with his resume. He was a really nice down to earth guy. I enjoyed meeting him.
