Toe and camber setting on 996
I've been running a 2000 996 on the track for some time now. I think its pretty dialed in, It will turn 2:11's on the full coarse at VIR, but I wearing out the front tires way to fast. I've got 2 deg of neg camber at all for corners, and can't remember what the toe is set at, but I think its +2 (4) for the right and left front.
The toe in, at the rear of the car is perfect. I'm just concerned on what would be the best set up for the front. Many thanks Matt S.

+2 what? MM, degrees, minutes?
If you are doing 2:11's on the full course in a stockish 996 then you are doing fine. Top C stock time at the last PCA race there was a 2:11 and change.

toe setting
Yes the car is fast, but if I were to show you the tires you would have to wonder if the toe is off in the front, they are wearing baddly on the inside, yet I have a conservative amount of neg camber. All I was trying to accomplish was, to get other 996 owners info on what amount of toe they were running in the front, and if the car could be better with the right amount of toe out. No the car is not stock. I still run with the full interior less the back seats, and a pair of recaro spg's. the car weighs 3185 wet with my 187lbs butt in it. The motor is all stock, and still under warranty. As for the suspension.. Double adj. JRZ's, supercup swaybars, GT3RS adjustable billet driplinks, old school 993 GT2 brakes, and Kinesis 18/9 front and in the rear 11's wrapped with dunlop 250/650 and 285/680 slicks (medium-medium hard compound) I'll be at VIR for the NASA event July 31-Aug 1
