Very cool Jack, we do the same thing with our trailex. Fits with only a few inches to budge on each side.

Jack - great picture, that is exactly my plan when there is a track car in the family.

Jack, is your son holding your cigar for you?

Mitch - no, but it does look like it, now that you mention it!

You can probably tell that's its a tight fit. I order a custom trailer - 15' instead of 16'. It just barely fits. Also, because the garage is a side entrance (doesn't face the front of the house), its impossible to back it into the single bay - which is where I wanted it. So I bought go-jacks from Griots. I back it into the double bay, put it on the go-jacks, and then push it down the garage...

Wow. That's some fancy backing up you have to do to thread that needle. You need to give your son a pair of flags to help direct you in.

I have a similar set up, but take the car off before pushing it in.

Can you back up using the go-jacks if someone helps?

This is my detached garage. I have 30' between it and the house with the other garages, but can't get it in there.

A930 -
I haven't tried to back up with the go-jacks on, but I have thought about it. I think you're right that I'd need someone to help. With them on, the rig is too wide to go into the single bay. I hadn't planned on that before i bought them - I thought that I might be able to get into the single bay, with some help, but it is impossible. By waiting until I get the trailer wheels in the garage, I get over the lip, which is about an inch high.
