With the current Trac-Com unit on backorder perhaps until October, get yourself a lightly-used one in a few days at a discount over new! It has always worked perfectly on the occasions in which I was in a car with a student.

With the "universal" earphones/mics as shown, new (when available) is about $275, but mine will be yours for only $175, and I'll pay for shipping to you in the States.

Does this use a battery of some sort? And, if yes, is a special charger needed for it?

 

They use regular 9v battery. No charger
