I think this is something that National could help out with to get more exposure and more people involved. I do wish they’d crank up the camera sound a bit. Without it we just look a bit slow (I mean it FEELS fast in the car!).

I hope PCA CR national supports this with tech and staff so more races can be streamed.
This is the team and tech that the DC Region of SCCA has built up over the past 4-5 years. They are constantly improving the product with a really nice production. It *used* to be 4 static cameras on the screen the whole time with the timing and scoring tower taking up 1/3 of the screen. The effort and output of Greg and his team has been a pride of the region for some time now. Good to see a wider audience enjoying their performance.

Was there yesterday helping out Jordan Applebaum with radios... Saw a LOT of car carnage as a number of folks had unfortunate results from their racing weekend.

I gotta say, Founders puts on the most well organized race event, hands down.

Awesome weekend - and I know it's likely starting to sound repetitive, BUT I think it's worth repeating: amazing job by the Potomac crew!!

The CUP crew really put on a great show - clean and close racing the entire weekend. And a big congrats to Eugen on his first win during the enduro!

What an incredible PCA Club Racing race weekend!!!

Thank you to Allie Conley, Steve Wilson and Donna Amico and the rest of the Potomac PCA Crew. Thank you to Vicki and Bruce and the rest of the PCA National Crew and thanks to the many other (100?) volunteers running the event. Thanks also to the many sponsors that ensured the financial viability of this great event.

The live streaming was simply superb to watch. Thanks to Gregg Ginsburg, Brian Donati and Spencer Gainer for the setup and commentary. I hope this becomes a new staple for PCA Club Racing at other events like Sebring, COTA, Road Atlanta, VIR, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Road America, etc....). It was great to watch Corey Friedman go from last to 4th in Red Sprint 1.

I believe that the Pace Car throughout the weekend only had one unscheduled appearance in the Blue Group Sprint 1 when two cars collided in Turn 1. The racing was very clean, courteous and heads-up. If you are interested in joining PCA Club Racing or if you haven't raced with PCA in a while, watch the live-stream. The racing speaks for itself!

Potomac Region continues to move the goal posts when it comes to hosting a PCA Club Race. Another top notch event. Great racing on the track. Thank you to all the volunteers for the work they did to make things run smoothly so we could all play.

Learned a lot about the OG Racing SPB. Still have work to do to get faster and on the same page with the car. Can't wait for the next one.

Excellent!
So that means that all of you can come down to CMP in a month and race with Carolinas Region PCA!!
Don't put those cars away just yet - come experience what we in the south have ... extended track season! (ok, we actually have no off season down here).
- Get those last event points
- Experience some nice Southern Hospitality
- Friday night social hosted by us at NaroEscape Motorsports

If you still remember many years ago the wear and tear on your tires - the new pavement from a few years ago GREATLY reduces the wear. And it still has tons of grip - makes for great racing!!!

Hope to see many of you in October

I didn't do the enduro but I saw barely any. I think we only had one local yellow for a car in the trap at 10 in the red group. I was hoping for a double yellow so I could catch up to Moses but alas, they did a hot tow.

There were no incidents in any of the Enduros either.

This was my first time attending. I came to spectate since I am in the market for a Cayman and have a coworker who raced her Boxster.

Here is a video I put together from all the shorter videos I took throughout the day. Really cool event to watch, hoping I can participate one day.

Maybe I'm the odd man out or telling tails out of school, but I was only there on Saturday and saw at least 8 cars with on-track damage, seven of which during the day on Saturday. I assisted the wrecker driver with unloading three of the vehicles. I'm not trying to out the unfortunate drivers. It happens, I get it. But it wasn't an incident free day on Saturday. Far from it.

I saw one rather egregious contact in turn one and I saw another car with minor damage but that was it. I did see quite a few with mechanicals hauled off including two blown SPB transmissions in our camp. I never like to see any body get bent but the red group was very well behaved anyway.

The only off I witnessed was during Green Sprint race #2. Seemed like this car got unsettled coming out of turn 8. From the sidelines, the racing looked clean all day, but you aren't seeing much from one spot and one point in time. I've done Summit Point a couple times on a motorcycle and it's easy to get fatigued later in the day and make mistakes. Hoping everyone was alright throughout the weekend.

Edit: Deleted the photos to maintain anonymity of the accident.
