if that is true then it must have just changed for mid-o, which would be kinda strange to start that type of rule mid-season. who told you that? as of 3 weeks ago that was not a rule for mid-o. i was there and saw lots of scooters running around for 3 days at the track. not a word from the event chair on it either.

Funny I’ve been searching for a pit bike/scooter that can fit in my GT4 as well…
I used an electric scooter that conveniently sat behind the seat of my 997 for several years. Regularly took it to Laguna Seca, Sonoma, Thunderhill with no issues.
Im tempted to get a Honda Motocampo but it’s too big for the frunk and I would want to lay it on a towel or something in the trunk.
Anyone know of a manual scooter that can fold up and fit comfortably in the trunk without laying on the engine cover?

I *may* be looking at a 911 instead, which I assume given the rear seats could open up a few more options.

i'm really curious to find out who told you this at mid-o. i just scoured the mid-o site and there is nothing on any page that says scooters, electric or not, are not allowed. the closest thing i could find was this but it was for races and swap meets, not DE events:
Bicycles are allowed at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, however, may not be used in Paddock Area. Personal golf carts and non-street legal off road vehicles (including, but not limited to, ATVs, UTVs, and side by sides) are permitted if displaying the proper pass/sticker purchased from Mid-Ohio for $100 and follow the Golf Cart & Off Road Vehicle Policies & Guidelines found HERE. Fee and registration waived during Vintage Motorcycle Days.

Despite the rule, I have used this at Sebring without issue. Fits nicely in the frunk
