51 people already signed up. Another 50 would be great. Guess that folks are waiting to survive the VIR CR first.

As a regular at Peachstate DE’s, I am always pleased by the enthusiasm for these events, but, I would prefer run groups smaller than 30+, especially since the number of non-Porsche vehicles seems to growing with each event. I realize they need the $$, of course, and, if my car cooperates, I will be there regardless.

I understand that for DE with the point by requirement higher car counts could be an issue.

I can't speak for DE but in a race 30 cars on a track like Road Atlanta is probably not enough to have folks to race against. They had about 50 cars in the fast Cup Car group last year and I don't think anybody complained.

Gonna see if the schedule works….
Have a blast regardless.
Edit: I’m at VIR with Potomac those 3 days. Damn. Wonder if I’m ever gonna get to Road Atlanta. Have fun at the races folks and be safe.

As a standard practice, I don’t think they allow it, although you might be able to negotiate something one on one, based on considerations such as your credentials as an instructor. As Frank says, it might be best to simply to contact the registrar directly.

I am planning to race, but we are having some logistical issues….
We will be the vendor supporting DMTD, T&T and the race weekend. But it’s tough to race and run the store at the same time without help on both the car and with the store. Help with the car is easy, it’s help with the store that’s the issue. I like having Nadine on the radio watching what’s going on and giving feedback, but she can’t if she has to mind the store. And honestly…I hate leaving her there to work while I race.
So I’m still trying to figure this out….plus find a street car to have while we’re there so we can leave the track if necessary…. Can’t bring the race car and a street car both. And we’ll be coming straight from Roebling Road, so it’ll be about 12 days on the road….need to be able to get to a UPS store, grocery store, dinner, etc…

I plan to attend, but it will be driven by how things turn out at the VIR CR.
