Bought a GT3!
2019. Couldn't justify a new one... 4700 miles, and never been tracked.
Looking forward to a full season of NASA TT with it.
Soooo.... it's probably not what y'all were expecting.
But it is a GT3. Forest River's version, anyway.
Really tired of the motels around the tracks. Always one pack of clowns coming in at 2 AM and another pack loading up their crap at 5.
Cheers!

5K. I have an open trailer...
Same chassis and brakes as most of the heavier coaches, just lighter springs.
Some extra spring would up that. Thor coaches on the same chassis have 8K.

Good move. We bought a Thor ACE 5 years ago and love it. It has a Triton V10 and 8k lb hitch and tows our enclosed race car trailer easily.

At least you get to leave the windows up for DEs and can use signals for point-bys.

Nice choice, and sharp looking rig!
Ace 27.1 was also on our list. I liked the extra towing cap, even tho we're good at 5K
Tried to keep it as short as possible. Forest River FR3 25DS was our first choice, but it'd been replaced by the GT3.
Always wanted a GT3...
This will also extend our travel range. Really uncomfortable for me to overnight at a motel with the Suburban and a race car/trailer.
Even the dumbest criminals would know valuable items are there. Much happier sleeping in the bus in some church parking lot.
And really looking forward to skipping the motels around Buttonwillow.

I tow with a Ford Dually which I love, but I'm growing tired of staying in hotels when I'm on the road. I can't tell you the number of times I've forgotten to make reservations.
And last weekend at Sebring, the sights, sounds and smells of folks barbecuing and socializing after the day's event started me thinking.......
Part of the whole experience!

The ones near Buttonwillow are spectacular. Never been to Willow Springs, but I hear they'reeven worse.
Much, much nicer to stay at the track.

Dream set up is a gooseneck enclosed with bathroom package and bed up top. The people that are staying at the track seem to be the most relaxed vs hustling back and forth from hotel! RV looks like a great solution. Nicely done!

It depends on the track. Road Atlanta, Barber have decent options nearby. Other tracks are more remote with less options. I love the idea of a RV/Motorhome at the track but then I start thinking about all of the logistics (grey/black water, electrical hookups/generator, etc) and it gives me pause.
