Default New PZero Corsa pricing?

Has anyone noticed the new pricing of the PZero Corsas? For a long time they were MUCH more than the price of the MPSC's (per Tire Rack), but now are a fair bit less (at least in terms of a 285/30-18 tire). Though the MPSC's are known to wear like iron, the Corsa's may seem to be a decent alternative.

Matt,

Just found your post . . . great minds think alike, huh?

Been reading the archives all morning. Sounds like the biggest issue with the Corsa's is that they wear badly at high ambient temps. A couple of summer DE's at TWS and they'd be dead. Benefits are very good wet tire, heat up faster than MPSC's, and breakaway is more progressive than MPSC's.

What I may do (if I can ever locate some used 18" 3-piece wheels) is try a set of Corsa's as my backups/rain/cold weather tires. Don't want to spend $1200 for tires that will mostly sit in the garage.

Kev,

I'm not so sure about that. Just got back from summit point, yesterday was 90's, track was HOT. From what I could see (tires still on car), my Pirelli P-zero Corsa's look fine.

I will try to take a closer look at the tires and will report any problems, but the last 3 days at summit point (sunday was warm but rainy, monday hot, tuesday very hot), the Pirellis still look perfect.
