Default Al Holbert with Dads RSK Spyder (Photo)

I Have one of Al Holberts/ P.M.N.A. old cars. In my research on it I ran across a guy doing some research on Holbert's racing carrier.
He E-mailed me an old photo he found. I thought you guys might like to see it.

The Holbert Family at a weekend event , sometime late 50s or early 60s,
with their way cool home made Porsche jackets. I believe Al is the kid
at the wheel of the RSK spyder.

Love the way they chain the car down. Things have certainly come a long way, haven't they?

I just met Al Holbert's nephew Tuesday night in Georgia up at Road Atlanta. His name is Matthew Holbert and he works at the family dealership in PA. Really nice guy, played pool with him for a few hours. He gave me his card so I pulled up the dealership's website (http://www.holberts.com) and looked around. You may have already seen it, but click on "Racing" for a quick article on Al and a very detailed account of his father's (Bob) racing and relationship with Porsche. A few cool pics as well.

A great family and historical photo that is made sad by the tragic way Holbert died. Despite that, thanks for sharing.
