Default Quick Qs re. DE and Spec Race

Folks, I am wondering if DEs and Spec Racing rules allow tinted windows. I want to get my windows tinted but dont want to throw money away. I dont race yet but I am hoping to in the future.
TIA

I know that in my region's (NNJR) DE program, the windows need to be down when you're on the track, so tinting of windows isn't an issue.

Different groups have different rules. PCA states that tint cannot be darker than factory. DE and Racing, you run with your windows down. I would not want tinted windows on a track car, I want to see everything that is going to pass me!!

Not an issue, but I did remove all the tin from the windows on my race car. Easier to see out of that way.

Thanks gentlemen. that means tinting is a go! I will just do a compromise tint and not go to dark. It's funny that all three of you race on the 944 platform. I guess it is a very popular platform for racing.
