HVR/PCA Unmuffled DE at Lime Rock April 11, 2023.
Folks, It's that time of year again for Hudson Valley Region's sole DE of the season, as the tracks have basically priced small regions out of the market. Gone are the days when we used to do two to three events at Lime Rock and one at Watkins Glen.
We would greatly appreciate your support.Our Driver's Education event at Lime Rock Park, Tuesday April 11, 2023 is starting to fill up. This event is open to all Marques with only 55 entries for intermediate and advanced run-group drivers only accepted and for those of you who have participated in the past know how much track time you get in an organized well run event.
Our track day is for Advanced Drivers only (White, Black, Red) and is un-muffled.
We will have two Run groups which will be organized by a variety of factors including driver experience, prior run group assignment(s), and what car is being driven. This is a half day event and we will run from 12 PM to 5 PM. No un-muffled cars are to be started before noon.
So if you have a car that you have not been able to run at Lime Rock because of it's noise level, now is your opportunity to run on this historic track. Track will open at 10:00 am for Tech inspection and Registration.
This is a great opportunity to get seat time especially for those drivers who are participating in the Club Race April 22nd with un-muffled car. If you drive at Porsche GT3 or Caymen GT4 you may want to consider this event as those models have been Black Flag at other Lime Rock DE for noise. Steve Katz from On Track Insurance has offered to host a social at his “Track House/Man Cave” located in Sharon Ct. after our Lime Rock Event on April 11, 2023. The menu will consist of Beer/Wine, appetizers and Pizza. The best part is it’s free to all participants including guests that attend our LRP event courtesy of Steve. Social starts at 5:30 (on track activities ends at 5:00) and ends at 7:30.

Thank you to everyone who attended. We had a great event that was made better by the after party at Steve's Track House/Man Cave - an impressive place. Thank you Steve!
