In case anyone didn’t see this in the other thread.
Registration for all events is now open. All are welcome. Direct links to each DE registration form are below.
We have changed the fee structure to improve value for instructors. To improve value for all attendees we will be continuing with the daily schedule format trialed at the end of last year: 45-minute open track for all solo drivers for second last session of the day and 60-minutes with extended passing for Black and Red run group for last session of the day. We are working to further improve the DE experience for all our attendees and look forward to seeing you at the track(s).
Schedule for what?
Happy to help.
Just need to know what schedule you’re looking for.
What the daily de schedule would be based on 4 groups and the free time at the end of the day. sorry i dont have one saved from the end if last year but we had plenty of time at summit last fall with the new format. Im already signed up for the july wg and ill probably be at t-bolt in june.

Yeah, Metros new format gives solo an additional 45 minutes or so at the end of the day. If you’re in Black or Red, add another hour to that. It’s a great new format for them. Kinda like the Chin happy hours but longer.
If you’re talking about Metro, I believe it’s extended passing, not open passing. PCA regs require points regardless of group, I think. Contact Metro to confirm, but I believe it’s passing anywhere on the track with a point by required.

Only our DE on June 14-15 before the PCA Club Race at Watkins Glen has a specific Club Race run group, in which all Club Racers running their race cars are placed.
As Bruce correctly indicated, NO Metro NY PCA run group / session includes or allows open passing. This is PCA DE; all passing is with point-bys, only. We do allow extended passing in the Red (instructor) run group, which generally runs with Black (advanced solo) and extended generally means anywhere on the track, although it is determined per event.
All relevant info and documents can be found linked to each registration form on www.clubregistration.net, and we expect our web site at www.metronypca.org to be updated with the 2023 docs soon too. Any questions can be directed to the Metro NY CA DE Registrar at the email address on the flyer above.

As an aside, those 2 hours of open track at the end of the Metro DE days really are open track. Most folks are done for the day by the time that last hour rolls around, so it’s a great opportunity to really have a ton of fun with your buddies on a wide open track with very limited, if any, traffic.
I really enjoyed those happy hours last season, and I think it’s a wonderful way to finish off those days. It’s really as much track
time as you want and/or can handle.
At their Lightning DE last fall, I had the track to myself (literally) for the last 45 minutes of the last day.
