Our (PCA) region has run primarily Mon/Tuesday events for a long time now. There is no perfect solution for everyone, but I love leaving for the track on a Sunday afternoon. It preserves most of the weekend, and as a major plus, we drive against traffic which is otherwise a nightmare on weekends with LCMT. Side bonus, accommodations are a fair bit cheaper and less crowded too. When I worked, it was just a question of advance planning.

Cheers

Matt

What is a "weekend of loops"?
Mondays would be great if I didn't have to make the donuts. I've found Fridays are easier to escape the office, even being self--employed.

100% agree.
If you’re on track on Friday, you don’t have to go to work for 3 days. If you’re on track on a Monday, you gotta go to work the next morning.
No donut making on Saturdays.

My wife and I both track. I asked our cats and they do not care if we go to weekday or weekend events.
Personally, I've always felt that weekday events have lower attendance which is a plus for me. A registrar could probably tell me if this is in my mind or true.

So for a weekday event, is any weekday (M-F) better than any other weekday for a single day event? Timely topic as we have been discussing adding an advanced-only PCA weekday event in our region @ MOSCC.

I think any day that ends in a "Y" is a good choice....

K, only downside I see to Monday events is if you get there on Sunday JB's Drive-In Restaurant/Ice Cream is closed
Seriously, though, AutoInterests did 5 Mondays last year at Mid-O and all were fine.
