Pagid Yellow 29 vs Ferodo 3:12
I have been doing HPDE for a few years and running the Ferodo 3:12 for about 2 years, the only other pad I have used is the OEM Cayman R pads, I would like to switch to Pagid Yellow 29 because of the free replacements from FCP Euro, will I be sorry, I basically a 987.2 mostly stock running in advanced group, I do about 3,500 track miles a year.

Nordschleife Master
Been running yellows for 2 yrs now with no issues. Good longevity and predictable feel but they r the only pad i have tried on the track.

Love the 3.12's. Got everything I need, except the lifetime replacement.....
Only race pad I've ever used. Free replacements for life would be nice though.....

I know FCP was told not to sell certain Ferodo Pads because of this lifetime warranty, or something like that.

I have run both. I prefer the yellows on the track as the initial bite is better. The ferodos are not bad just not quite as good for me. The ferodos are much less noisy on the street if that matters to you. Brake preference is very subjective according to driving style and car. Hard to beat the FCP warranty.

No, I mean why, not how, are you buying someone else’s used pads?
If it does indeed work for you, I have about 30 FULL sets of spares you can have for free. They are all between 5 and 50%.
Pickup in North Jersey or pay for shipping.
The pads are yours no charge.

Three Wheelin'
On my third set of front Sebro slotted for my 2013 Boxster S. Cost $50+ to mail old ones back for credit. Ordered a set of Ferodo DS1.11s from FCP in 2020 and they stop selling them. Got a 100% refund when they wore out. Just ordered a set of front Pagid yellows and Motul 660. Plan to warranty brake fluid for the first time. Post office has some very specific packaging requirements to mail flamable fluids. May have to use UPS or FEDEX. Not sure how they sustain this business model.

I guess if you keep getting free replacements, that makes it work for you, but the 2500 is a street pad (with some track mixed in, just a little). They will wear fast under continued threshold braking under track stress.
The 3.12/3.11 is the pad for track. Unfortunately, FCP isn't allowed to sell them anymore as far as I know because of the free replacement for life thing.
If you're daily driving your track car, the 2500 is the right Ferrodo for you. Just not a track pad.
Gonna see you in a couple weeks?
