As Hunt stated, Green group race 1 was a mess. I spun in turn 5 lap 1 in the fluid and was hit in the driver side door. I spun again in 10 and 3 on the same lap, 2 laps later. At that point I said screw it. The level of aggression has definitely increase in PCA. Did they increase the prize money or make the trophies bigger? It is amazing to see the risks people will take to get a faster lap or a trophy. The Porsche Factory was definitely not hiding in the woods of Summit Point ready to sign anyone that was there driving this weekend. Ok I 'm off the soap box, by the way the gauge on the upright is the temperature gauge and the blinking red light going off means you are dropping coolant. DA!

What a wild race weekend! Experienced so many highs and lows I thought I was on a roller coaster.

First time I have ever raced two cars - GTC6 and 911CUP. I was exhausted but tons of fun. Had some problems with the 911Cup and didn't get it sorted until race day. Big thanks to Bela at EPS for being a standup guy and finding me the needed parts and Bryan at Speedsport for making the repairs and getting me out there. Man that car is a ton of fun!

Incidents happen at any race but sad that a certain group chose to drive like a bunch of asshats. When we got out of our cars at the black flag one of the "people in question" comes up to me and says "you just had to pass me before the black flag!" I thought he was kidding but turns out he "reported me" for passing under yellow. The yellow in his video was a photographer with a yellow vest. Cleared of any wrong doing. Never encountered that level of passive aggressiveness.

Aside from that certain group there was a lot of courtesy. I drove from the back of the grid in the 911Cup where I gave tons of point-bys and got a lot of courtesy in the Cup.

Fun photo shoot for 911Cup class -

Great work doing double duty! Love that 911Cup group shot.

It's passive aggressive behavior OFF the track that turns into metal damage ON the track. Agreed that the level of questionable moves and damage (both single car from overdriving and multi-car from aggressive moves) is on the rise. Something needs to change...

Hats off to the Potomac Region staff and volunteers for another great event! While I wasn't there, I was getting all kinds of good info from some folks on track, some of whom went quicker and all stayed clean. All good.

I forgot to mention the grid workers and corner workers at SP....what a great group of people! The grid folks always had a smile, a "good morning" and kept us informed and hydrated while we were waiting on grid. The "army" of corner workers (do any other tracks have 3 and 4 people manning EACH corner??) were quick with communicating Blue Flags and Debris/fluid Flags. I never felt uncertain about any race condition and that was directly attributable to the corner worker's diligence.

Great points. The grid and corner workers were fantastic. Made our jobs much easier.

I hadn't raced for the past 7 or so years until this year so flagged at this event instead. Agreed, the Rock the Summit corner workers are great. Each corner is headed by a seasoned SCCA flag captain and each of the volunteers takes great pride in doing a good job to protect everyone. Many of the volunteers are DE drivers so they know what's going on.

Heck, even 1 year I was turned down to flag because we already had enough volunteers!!!

I have 4 videos from Sunday. 2 are spin videos and a collision video.

This one is a near accident video. I was clinching the whole time watching it. I can't imagine how the driver felt!

I'll upload the other videos when I can.

All of the Cup car guys at SP this past weekend just happened to be distinguished gentlemen drivers with reputations beyond reproach.
