Mt Tremblant
Has anyone been to Mt. Tremblant in 2022 or 2021? I’d like to go back this season for a DE. The last time I went a few years ago was problematic due to the sound restrictions. I was driving a Porsche 991.2 GT3 and got a few black flags for sound violations. My car was stock with stock muffler, sport exhaust shut off. Eventually after fiddling with the direction of turn down pipes I got a good session or two in. I would appreciate hearing more current updates. I’m aware of the politics in the town.

Same restrictions in effect(may be even more “controlled” since taking the track off the market!?)
Plan accordingly(turn down pipes, baffles, extra muffler, etc)
The newer gt3/4 crowd need to short shift and not allow the pdk to reach redline in certain areas of the track to pass sound. Apparently the quick shift at redline is what’s causing them to bust sound.

Masten Gregory takes us around in a 300SL Roadster to start with... Finishes up with Shane Lewis in a Lola-Judd LMP1 car and some Skippy racing.

The sound still an issue for the GT Pcars in 2021 for Tremblant.
As mentioned above... leaving in Auto PDK actually seems to draw more black flags.
Oddly...there ia a small gaggle of 991 GT3s that get around "all out" and all weekend with no issues. Very variable environmental situation.
Akropovic & Dundon Nurburgring turndowns do a pretty decent job from getting flagged but not 100% as I got flagged just over the limit on one occasion. Marshalls are intolerant to anything over 92dB!!

Can’t wait for NER at LCMT this season. Registered at 12:01 that morning.
Family will be in tow. Can’t wait.
Edit: Yes, they always measure sound right under the bridge from the flagger station on the right as you come into the "blind" left hander where your sound is reverberating all over the place. I know it doesn't work easily but being in a higher gear there does wonders.
Yes, I know you need to downshift there, and a PDK (IIRC) will always downshift there. Just a word of caution.
In my experience, the sound restriction is so random that it almost makes no sense.
Still, one of the highlights of my season every year we've gone. The only event that the entire family comes with me, and they have lots to do while I'm at the track. We usually stay for a week for the Blues Festival with the DE parked right in the middle of all of it. One of the great DE's of the season for sure. Only 150 drivers max total as well I think.

I was black flagged for sound there last September. I was on my 3rd lap of my 1st session on track. My 987.2 has performance headers and a stock exhaust. I blew 93db, well above the 92db limit. This was the 3rd event there that got cut short for me due to excessive sound. If you have reason to believe you might not pass under the sound limit then you probably won't. I suggest reaching out to some of the folks in the Rennsport region for advice. It's their home track and they have good intel on what it takes to stay under the sound limit.
