Default Old style SmartyCam...free for the takin' !
I have an older SmartyCam, i hate to toss it out...It is "frozen" and the screen won't load...Anyone need or want it for parts, etc? Happy to send it to you, Lemme know !

There is a box of those at AiM - if they haven't thrown it out again Great cameras in their day.

How old is it? My 2013 vintage SmartyCam HD froze and AIM fixed it and sent it back. that was in 2020.

The original SmartyCam (standard definition) was sold between 2009-2012. No parts available, anymore.

The SmartyCam HD (2012-on) is still able to be serviced and AiM does offer great support.

They have some used cases for the standard def cameras, but the bin gets cleared out frequently.

Not everything on the HD1 camera can be fixed anymore. SCHD 2.1 is completely serviceable.

Given the V1 SCHD was only sold for a short time before the introduction of the V2/V2.1, I don’t think there are many out there. I still see a few facing out the back in dual camera setups. They don’t give much trouble except for the battery and input board.

There area ton of v1 cameras out there. They are great, but they have a boot mode problem on occasion that can't be fixed.

I've got a batch of new SCHD 2.1 and SCHD GP 2.2 incoming now! It's like a late Christmas!
