David Hinton, one of the co-owners who is the chief cook and bottle washer (as well as a fine driver), will be staying on for two years. So, this bodes well for HSR, I think.

IMSA had historic racing back in the '70s. Starts at 3:27. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kks-yGG_6g
The rest of the video is pretty good also...

Did you drive in this race? Great video of the "good old days" when racing could be done on a relative "shoe string" if you just wanted to have fun and participate.

At 25:30 in the video, we idle through the pits towards victory circle. (I did race the 12hr one other time in '75 and finished 2nd overall, three laps behind BMW)
I'm proof that you can cobble some money together and run in a top flite series. In just my eighth race ever and third time in a Porsche, I found myself running behind Peter Revson to get 5th in GTO and 10th overall at a '73 Lime Rock IMSA race. Might cost more to duplicate that today.

Things may be more cut throat today, but I ran across a video of the '75 (I think) IMSA race at Lime Rock a while back (pretty sure you were in that race George?) - I was impressed to see that even back then, with tires that would be considered bricks by today's standards, the pole time in a 3.0L RSR was 54.9. That would be damn fast even today. It wasn't easy back then either.
