Default Installing 6-pt harness - OEM electronics question

Hey track friends,

I am slowly modifying my 997.1 C2S for track (TT currently) and am currently swapping the OEM seats for a set of Racetech buckets... in past race cars i have used the backing-plate + bolt through the floor pan to anchor the sub-belts.
On the passenger side of the car, that seems an easy task, empty floor.

passenger side

But on the driver side, there is a 'body control module' in the way... i am curious what any of you have done with this module... do you relocate it (does that affect its readings and cause strange PSM behavior or airbag deployment if it is readings are off because of different orientation) ?

Driver side

Or do you have an alternative sub-belt anchoring mechanism that is safe/approved ?

Thanks in advance,
_ Garrett

You can relocate it, its just a switching module for the rear of the car. There are no acceleroneters or anything like that.

I moved mine al the way up onto the vertical quarter panel.
