I hate that no-one answered you. I tried to call a friend that works on those cars, but couldn't find him. His name is Jim Watson, and is really an early 911 and 356 guru, he even owns an unrestored 550 Spyder. His shop is in Lewisburg, Tennessee, and his number is 931-359-5546. He's old, like me, and goes to the Gulf to fish a lot, but I would not be surprised if he is going to Rennsport. He races a vintage 911 also.

Thanks for the lead and the thoughts! I will check in on progress, the carb body was delivered to Matt Blast at eurometrix today, maybe he saved it! I guess they snapped a main jet, and were having no luck in extracting. I have been there, fortunately I was able to save the 40 IDS ! Again thanks
