I am in also and great to see folks on this forum that are also planning to attend. I’ve also booked for all 4 days. Hope to meet you gentlemen there…. Yes, I’m very happy with PBOC and have become a big fan of them and this event (and appreciate how the event is run and managed). Great group.

Just got the latest email from PBOC with schedule and all relevant info.
Getting very excited to get back on track.
As much as we love to ski all winter, this track addiction thing is beginning to put that addiction to shame. Winter in the northeast is getting longer and longer as I age. Uggh.
Super Solo all 4 days and instructing Saturday and Sunday.
Getting very psyched and looking forward to meeting some RL folks for the first time.
Was gonna book Inn at the Lakes. My wife will be flying in Wednesday afternoon. She doesn’t want to right seat my 2 day tow down there. Can’t blame her.
Anyone have any experience at Inn on the Lakes? Good place and pool and bar for the wife to hang while I’m at the track?

I DO recommend Inn on the Lakes. Good, loud bar!

SuperSolo is for advanced, experienced drivers capable of driving in a very fast group of other experienced drivers. Like other driving groups, it's a vetting process and it all begins with a driver's interest and query.
We host a personal interview to qualify the candidate's capacity and once approved, they're provided provisional status to drive in the group over the course of the event's weekend. The candidate must demonstrate driving proficiency, critiqued and feedback provided by veteran SuperSolo drivers on track and the provisional driver must stay incident free (with "incident" not necessarily meaning contact or an accident). Candidates are required to shadow three races at various flag stations and obtain sign offs to observe what flag stations do during races and must work a shift as a grid marshal during the 6 hour enduro race.
SuperSolo boasts the lowest incidents of any run group and I have yet to drive in any group, race or HPDE with a group of drivers more conscientious, their heads on a swivel, epitomizing situational awareness than in SuperSolo.
Come give it a try.

Hi folks, I'm a west coaster that finds myself in south Florida (Wellington, way less "horse power" for the money here) for the winter. I left my cars at home and am itching to do some driving. Anyone know of companies that will do arrive&drive rentals for an event like PBOC? I normally race with with POC in Cali and just did Champcar @ Sebring a few weeks ago. I don't actually want to race @ PBOC, just DE.

Some of the Sebring “locals” should be able to help you find a car for the DE portion of winterfest. Good luck.
