Removing pad deposits from rotors?

No doubt! I swear that could literally feel the Hawk Blue's stripping the pad material off the disc face real-time. Those suckers were aggressive! Gbuff is spot on about dust removal with those pads as well. The problem with getting the dust wet is that if you let it sit too long it is welded to your wheels!

I have a lot of track days on GiroDisc rotors and that looks perfectly normal to me for 8 days. I’d get about 10-12 out of mine, versus 3-4 out of OEM or the equivalent Centric, etc. Comparing rotor wear just be measuring number of days is impossible as they’re are way too many variables.
